move vm from another cluster

I'm gonna migrate one vm to another host in another cluster.

Storage is not shared either

For hot migration,

is the vm migrated through vmotion network or management network?

the VM’s memory state is copied from the source to the destination ESXi host over the vMotion network.

For a hot migration you need shared storage !

Do you have a Linux system that can access both the source ESXi and the target ESXi ?

Not since vSphere 5.1 you don't.

Then you assume that source ESXi sees source datastore and target datastore.

We dont know if we can make that assumption

It doesn't matter if it doesn't, a vMotion will still work in those cases. That was the essence of the shared-nothing vMotion feature introduced in 5.1.

Are the CPU of ESXi hosts (from source and destination clusters) compatible or not?!
