Hey guys,
I changed the IP of my vCenter and now I am getting random disconnects between the host and vCenter. It seems this value was not updated when I changed the IP. Does anyone know where I can change that value?
I tried disconnecting the host and removing it from inventory then adding it back. No luck.
Tried changing the vpxa.cfg.It just changes back to the old IP.
Thanks
This screenshot is from the host:

Hello tmack,
You will have that setting in vCenter advanced setting however i dont think we can edit it. You have to update that in database.
Thanks,
MS

Thanks for the response.
Would you happen to know which table?
I looked at quite a few of the 1114 tables in the VCDB but did not find where this is stored.

This is strange behavior, Can you try resetting the ESXi from the DCUI mode and see if it comes back?

Thanks!
This was one of the steps in the link you provided; which resolved the issue:
To check if the managed IP has been set on vCenter Server 5.1.x and above using the vSphere Web Client:
- Log into the vSphere Web Client. The default URL is https://vCenter_Server_FQDN:9443/vsphere-client
- Navigate to vCenter > Inventory Lists vCenter Server.
- Click the vCenter Server needing to be verified.
- Select Manage > Settings > General
- Expand the Runtime settings field by clicking on the arrow next to it.
To modify the Runtime Settings:
- Click Edit in the right-hand corner of the panel
- Click Runtime settings on the left-hand side of the window
- Modify the vCenter Server managed address and vCenter Server name accordingly.
- Click OK
