It seems to be a known issue.  I have a ticket open with VMware for the same thing.

I have a gmail.com account which is linked to my @work.com account (so they can use my VCP).  I assume you have the same thing?  This is causing my gmail.com address to be seen as a partner email address and I'm unable to log into mylearn.vmware.com.  Regardless of if you are a partner or not, we should still be allowed to log into mylearn.

Once I hear back on my ticket I will update you here.
