Remove server from vSAN
I have a 4-server vSAN and am attempting to remove one server (HP DL380 Gen9). The server shows it is not in the vSAN and the vSAN does not have the associated disk group however, I am not able to repurpose the disks on the server as it says they are associated with a vSAN. Anyone have an idea how I can get this back to a stand-alone server?

These steps have been followed. When I restart the server and look at Storage Devices, all SCSI disks partitioning is still to the vSAN thus I can't combine them to RAID so I can create a local Datastore.

Hi @JohnB52 have you tried erasing the disk partitons? https://williamlam.com/2015/09/erasing-existing-disk-partitions-now-available-in-the-vsphere-web-cli...
