How to contact a moderator?

Hi All

I am new to the forum so apologies in advance if this is not directed to the right channel.

I have made a recent post in the vCenter forum but the post have neither been approved or denied, at least as far as I can see, but it's still not visible in the forum (posted on the 13th this month), so something is going on.

As a result I am trying to get in contact with a moderator to get an update, but I have not been able to figure how to best initiate that contact or figured out whom the moderator is?

I did read though the VMware community FAQ but it's doesn't seem to specifically address this issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve reported this post to the moderators, they should each get an email notification to tell them to take a look at it.

Note they are all volunteers, helping in their own time.

RDPetruska, thanks for releasing the post from spam. Unfortunately, I am convinced that because it was sitting in spam for so long it’s been missed by most of the community, as it was never seen on the top of the forum page as posts normally would (went down to page 2 as it was released). I purposely waited a little to see if the view count would change but it hasn’t and it’s very low compared to other posts, so I am getting zero feedback. As a result, I would like to re-post it, however before even attempting that, I want to make sure it’s not getting marked for spam again or marked as a duplicate. Can we just delete it, then I can repost or what else can we do to make this happen?

I can't see any other posts from you apart from this one. I’m not a moderator so don’t have access to all the areas of the forums, but wanted to add a note that whatever else you posted still can't be seen by a regular user. I have reported this post to the moderators again, suggesting they take another look to help you.

You can simply reply to your existing post to bump it.

As far as the spam, the system automatically marks some posts as spam - not entirely sure why - sometimes it is links included, sometimes with lengthy posts it also marks them.  So I can't answer exactly why your post was flagged, and if a repost would also get flagged.

I am going to attempt to re-post because as Scott also confirms he cannot see it.

Also find it hard to believe that by now it only has 17 views, compared to other post in roughly same timeframe which has between 100 and even 1000 of views. Something is not right.

Can you please check on your end and approve it if it somehow get spammed / blocked again?

Just an update on my end, I reposted and it worked. I also now have more views on the new post in less than an hour than I had on my original post over a ~20 day period. Thanks for your help.
