I just installed vmware Workstation 17 Pro. After installing Parrot OS, I have no internet connection. Ping google.com returns error "Temporary failure in name resolution". I have tried the following:

sudo nano /etc/resolv.conf (nameserver 8.8.8.8)

sudo service-networking restart

verified no proxy or firewalls

And numerous other suggestions and no success. Any help would be great.
