identity manager redirecting to internal connector

I have setup a directory connection within identity manager but when I try to logon to the domain it redirects me to the internal connector, is there a way to stop this?

Hi,

do not use the internal connector for authentication. Just for sync.
Use the ' built-in'  Identity Provider for authentication:

The solution you are searching for is the ' Outbound only mode' .
