iPhone DEP supervised cannot perform iTunes backup

We have acquired DEP iPhones that are available throught Workspace One.  When testing the different deployments, we have noticed that a user is not able to backup/restore is iPhone with iTunes.

When the device is plugged in, the following error message comes up ' The iPhone is supervised by another computer and cannot be used with this computer' .

How can this be resolved?

Hi Alesandro,

Just in case if you are still having this problem. Verify that the Restriction profile has the ' Allow pairing with non-Configurator Hosts'  restriction checked. This will allow you to pair the device with any iTunes on any computer.

I just did a backup of my old DEP iPhone and restored that to my new DEP iPhone without any issues. Be aware that restores of the backup work well when installed to a different device but there are issues like incomplete enrollments when restoring a backup to the same DEP device.
