iOS Homescreen layout - managing webclips

I have added webclips with icons to our iPads and would like to be able to manage where they appear on the homescreen along with the apps. Is this possible? If so, how?

You can use the Homescreen Layout option to define what items appear on which page (or in a specific folder, etc) but I do not believe you can specify an exact position on the screen.

I may not have made myself clear. I can manage the apps - it is webclips that I am having a problem with! I want to be able to determine which page or folder they appear in but I can’t see how to add webclips on the Homescreen Layout

As far as I know, this is only possible via a custom profile.

I've tried redoing our dock via custom profiling...but it won't load in because we have a home screen layout profile. 

I'm guessing you can't have both...which means we'd have to do a giant custom profile to organize the whole thing. Does that sound right?
