iOS App containerization

Hi there,

I apologize if there's an obvious answer to this but  i'm very new to VMWare Workspace and have been browsing the documentation for a while struggling a bit to find the answer to my question. 

Is it possible to containerize the native mail app on unmanaged iOS devices with Workspace ONE, restricting features like cut/copy and paste, or does this require specific app-wrapped or SDK integrated apps?

I do not believe you can containerize the Native Mail iOS App. I do not have enough knowledge to speak about App Wrapping / SDK. But if I am not mistaken you would need access from Apple to allow that level of access and possibly the code. You can try to look for the Apple MDM protocol. It may be possible that you can do some restrictions with a profile. I have stayed away from App Wrapping / SDK to avoid frequent rounds of testing after every iOS release.
