exceptions for a smartgroup

Hello, I am hoping that there is a less labour intsensive way to acheive this than I came up with:

I have an Assignment Group Smartgroup that has a User Group with 30 users in it, one of those users should not have access to one of the apps that the Assignment Group has been asigned to.

I can add an exclusion for the user in the smartgroup then all the apps dissapear from the users ipad. To put all the apps back except the one they shouldnt have do i need to assign a new Smartgroup with the single user in it to every single app or is there an easier way to do this?

kind regards

Hello,

If I got you right, you can do one of the following:

1- Create a new Assignment Group for all users except the user you want to exclude and assign that specific app to this group.

2- Create a new group with this single user on it and exclude him from that app assignment.

ok, thanks so there is no quick way to exclude one of the thirty app for just one user? you have to create a new group for that user and assign it individually to all twentynine apps that they should have?
