I'm getting new iPads and iPhones on 12.1.4 through our DEP and they will go through the regular activation if they are not added to the DEP OR if we don't manually assign a profile to the DEP assigned devices in AirWatch. We manually assign profiles.for.reasons under Lifecycle > Enrollment Status.
Dean is right. Tony, did you check if the serial numbers of the newly purchased devices show up in AirWatch under Lifecycle > Enrollment Status? If not, it could be that AirWatch has not yet synced with Business Manager to fetch the new serials. Can you please check this out?
