Workspace login - Application Manager Error Code 500

Hello,

i deployed workspace horizon-workspace-1.5.0-1318295.ova several days before but since yesterday at the evening i got this error message.

I was looking at the service-va logs but can't find someting wrong.

Today I killed and delete all workspace vapp and included vms, deploy workspace ova again, configure and get the same error...

Any ideas?

Could you double check with service-va log and see whether it has something for the 500 error?

Also, could you login to workspace with URL https://yourgatewaymachine.domain/auth/login?login and login using your vapp's very first login username (admin) and password?

I have the same problem. I tried with your URL but that points to the admin dashboard with all the modules. Used the (admin) username/password. But as per vmware documentation, following is the end-user web client for horizon workspace which gives me the above error:

https://<yourhorizonworkspaceFQDN>:443/web

Web Client (end user)

Manage files, launch applications, or launch View pools. (Login as an Active Directory user or virtual user.)

dannyray,

Could you please confirm following -

1. Go to Configurator Web UI (https://cfghostname/cfg/system). For each vm in the list, verify the "Relative Drift" text value is in "green color".

If not, please ensure each vm has time synced to it's ESX host. To verify this, through vShpere Client, for a vm go to "Edit Settings" -> "Options Tab" -> "VMware Tools" section. The adjacent section should have a checkbox option "Synchronize guest time with host", and ensure this is checked. Please verify for all vms. You have have to restart vApp after you fix this.

2. If this does not help, then could you please provide logs from service-va (/opt/vmware/horizon/horizoninstance/logs/horizon.log*) & connector-va (/opt/vmware/c2/c2instance/logs/connector.log*).

Thank you Shahd for your inputs.

Time sync issue was fixed. In the gateway web interface URL, the username must be entered as the logon name instead of domain\user format. Otherwise it fails to login.
