We are trying to test the WS1 managed VMs described in the article https://brookspeppin.com/2021/02/19/ws1-managedvm/
But faced with issues with access to the docs and apps:
- In the Step 1 there is a link to the application Workspace ONE Drop Ship Provisioning at techzone - https://techzone.vmware.com/factory-provisioning-vmware-workspace-one-operational-tutorial but it isn't availible for the trial users.
- We found a similar app in the DOCs: VMware Workspace ONE® Provisioning Tool™ 3.3 for Windows - is it correct app for the Step 1?
- In the Step 2 mentioned "WorkspaceOneProvisioningManagedVM.msi" application, but we failed to find in the available places.
- In the Step 3 mentioned a very similar to the Step 1 application - VMware Workspace ONE Provisioning Tool
- In the Step 4 to prepare the final output (zip file) we should use the applcation that've been installed in the Step 2.
So, there are three questions:
- Is the method from article https://brookspeppin.com/2021/02/19/ws1-managedvm/ slill actual for the WS1 managed VMs?
- Is it possible to download WorkspaceOneProvisioningManagedVM.msi with trial access?
- Is it possible to get access to the techzone and the Beta-products (https://beta-ea.vmware.com/) with trial subscription?
