Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub Deployment (Win10) - newbie question!

Hi all;

Self-tagging this one as a newbie question.  We're setting up WSONE (cloud).  We were testing out auto-enrollment through Azure AD.  We got our test Windows 10 VM to domain join into our Azure AD, and the integration with WSONE seemed to work fine - the device showed up in the UEM console, as did the user account.  We can push profiles to the device too (tested this with a simple profile to set the wallpaper).

Next step was to look at the right route to push the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub agent down to the device.  Under 'settings > devices > Windows > Windows Desktop > Intelligent Hub Application', we ticked the box to Publish the Intelligent Hub Application.

After we did this, when looking at the device in list view it now shows 'Pending Hub' in the status - however down on the PC, nothing is happening.

Is there something we've missed for the push of the agent to take place?

Many thanks in advance!

Hi Mark,

Did you enable this setting after enrollment into Azure AD + WS ONE UEM? Otherwise, try to enroll a new device.

We have seen some download issues with QoS settings. You can try to enroll by 4G instead of Wi-Fi or cabled network to see if that solved your problem.

Thanks for this - I re-enrolled from scratch and the Hub deployed automatically.

Out of interest, for any existing devices is there a recommended route?

Many thanks

Hi Mark,

Do you mean the enrollment method for existing devices? Please have a look on https://techzone.vmware.com/planning-your-windows-10-deployment-vmware-workspace-one-operational-tut... , see header ' Selecting an Onboarding Workflow' .
