Workspace ONE Access Connector says es-config password is invalid whille it is not

Hi,

I have a Workspace ONE Access sandbox through VMware TestDrive and I cannot seem to get the Access Connector to work.

After multiple tries, it keeps saying that the es-config.json file its password is not correct, while it definitely is correct. Even copying and pasting does not work.

Any ideas?

Just as a test, can you please try creating a new Connector instance and use password VMware1!

I tried putting in the password VMware1! for the configuration file, but with no luck. It says that it needs to be at least 14 characters.

Then try: VMware1!VMware1!

"Failed to validate password". Not even copying and pasting works.

I found a solution.

I removed java from the computer and let the connector install it's own version. After this the password error did not appear.
