I have a bunch of users that for unknown reason cant login to Horizon Workspace.
After Workspace client has been installed the user is prompted to login. Login seems successful. No Errors. However it just shows a blank (white) window and nothing happens.
Login in to horizon workspace with a browser workes.. but not thruogh the client.
Where do i start to Look?

Hi Zeilon,
We reproduced the issue in house. When you sync a user, delete the user ( or exclude it from the sync), then resync the user again, the role of the user will be lost. We can provide a fix as a hot patch. Please let us know if you cannot wait for the hot patch. We can work with you for a manual workaround which involves manual DB operations.

It seems that (if i look in the right place that it "hangs" on https://horizonserver/SAAS/prepareSignon.do
One more note.. Users that fail to login do not have a "role" in horizon..
Users that CAN login have role User..
Why do some get a role and some dont?

can you try synching the users again from connector to see if that helps? We are also investigating why the role would be lost.
Zeilon, did you resync those users to Horizon? There was a bug that we fixed post 1.5 that fixed the missing role issue.
Which client are they using? Mobile client, web client, desktop client?

We have resynced the directory several times trying to fix it,, No change.
We tried to remove users from that AD group we are syncing, ran the zmprov da user@company.com and then synced again..adding the users back to the group. No luck,
Yes sync was done today.. upgrade to 1.5 was done last week ,, so that did,nt help.
The problem occurs on the Windows Client.. Web login seems to work.... 😕
Only time i successful could add a user was if i created a completly new user in AD and the synced the directory..
I,m out of idés.. 😕

Great news. I need to have this matter sovled by this wednesday 4/9.
Is the patch anywhere near finished? Other wise i would like to have it manualy fixed.

I ran the patch and all users now have the correct "role" in admin gui
I,ll see if it is possible to login with the client as well.
