Where to find Linux Workspace One agent script

Hello there,

We are in the process of evaluating Workspace One as our potential UEM tool for a hybrid environment of Linux, MacOS and some Windows endpoints and are looking to test basic UEM functionality for each OS. We have not been able to find and download the relevant Workspace One Agent for Linux anywhere (trying to follow the process mentioned here : https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Workspace-ONE-UEM/services/Linux_Device_Management/GUID-C155A8D9-0...

Can anyone assist us with this ?

You need to open a support request or ask your VMware resp. to get the binaries.

As of today there is no real value in the Agent in terms of functionality, but there is an update coming out soon -> https://blogs.vmware.com/services-education-insights/2021/03/getting-started-with-linux-device-manag...

To get an impression how the enrolment is working: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LngPAlGOkBU

I recommend not spending time on Linux for now, as mentioned there is nothing than a registered device in the console - better postpone your evaluation to a point later this year.
