VMWare tunnel Android stay open when no app requiring it are opened

Hi, I wanted to know if anyone has identified this problem with VMWare Tunnel on Android.


 


If I open an App using Per App tunneling with the VMWare tunnel if opens and everythig works fine, but when the application that was using the tunneling is closed the tunnel stays open.


 


Is there a fix for this ?

I believe this is a bug that they plan to rectify on a newer version release.

I opened a case sometime in Q2 earlier this year and the support tech said that even though it's showing as running, it's ' not active' .

What UAG version are you on? I'm on 3.6 and I have seen it close the connection but it is not immediate, it usually takes 2-5 minutes to close it. Are you looking for something a bit more immediate?

I was not the one configuring it but I think it was configured using Linux and not UAG.

UAG is Linux and you have to have that for per-app VPN. how long ago was it installed?

It was installed back when we had 8.0 version of Airwatch ? I am not the one that installed it, but is there a way to determine the version I have installed ?
