Use Workspace One Web on shared iphone

This got asked of me today by a customer and banging my head against a wall:

  1. Supervised devices, managed by ws1 but jamf is also a option

  2. Healthcare setting so shared by nurses

  3. Nurses need to scan QR codes that load into browser

  4. Browser cannot save info so cache needs to be cleared on closing

  5. Qr scanning needs to work but they do not want them to be able to take photos and save them to the phone

  6. Can’t wipe the device between users

My only thought is ws1 has workspace one web, it could do these things but hub app requires a user login for the clear cache things to work, is there a way to prefill the hub app to login with a generic account? I don't want to have nurses having to log into the hug app everytime they grab a phone.

You can enroll devices with a generic account (not really important).

You can fully restrict all apps on the device except Workspace ONE Web and a third-party QR code scanner or the native Camera app (depending on Camera restrictions).

You can configure Workspace ONE Web with caching disabled and cookies clearing upon exit / idle timer.

Not ideal to have this "multi-app kiosk" use-case on an iOS device but it can do the job.
