Hi
All of a sudden i,m getting time drift on the Connecntor making it impossible to login to workspace.

I get this when trying to login as admin
Application Manager encountered an error.
Please contact customer service and provide the information displayed below.
Message NotBefore condition is invalid. Assertion validation failed. | Error Code 92005 | Server 127.0.0.1 | Timestamp |
And ias a "normal" user i get.
Message This error is probably due to a time synchronization drift between the Connector and Application Manager. Ask your administrator to check the time on the Connector and Application Manager to verify that they are properly synchronized with an NTP time server. | Error Code 92005 | Server 127.0.0.1 | Timestamp 2013-apr-03 16:37:02 |
I did have Sync time with host enabled and tried it without that no difference..
What could cause this time drift??
Thanx for helping.

Did you setup NTP on ESX host?
Yes, NTP has been set on the Host and was enabled for the Horizon VA,s
I also tried to disable NTP on the VA,s but no luck.
I checked Time settings in All 5 VA and made shure they are on the same time zone etc..
The strange part is that it is only the connector VA that has the time drift.. And it is not constant. It some times 37 sec before and then 55 sec before and then goes back to 23 sec before and so on..

While all the other appliances do depend on the ESX host for time sync, when you join a connector to a domain the connector will start to time sync with the domain controller. Can you verify your domain controllers are correctly time synced?
Hi Zeilon,
I faced similar issue. In my VMware datacenter, there are several ESXi hosts. In order to avoid time drift, I made vSphere DRS rule within cluster, forcing all Horizon Workspace VMs, to be on the same ESXi hosts. That way, there is no time drift between them, as default Horizon Workspace installation, setup these VMs to be synchronized with ESXi host.
For some reason, my ESXi hosts are sometime out of time synchro, although they should be (same NTP).

i tried this but i still have this problem, all of my VA are also syncing but still with this problem, did you solve it ?
Hi Renmo
After reading PBjork comment above on that the connector is getting its time from the AD after joining the domain i quickly found that the AD DC was having issues with its time.
When this was fixed everything settled and is now working.
