Hi,
Can someone please enlighten me on how to set the hostnames for the VMs during the vApp import. I can only set the ip addresses and do not want to use the default hostnames.

Hostnames are picked up using reverse DNS lookup. In you DNS you create an A-record and PTR record for each vm.
