Send Device Wipe to a group of machines?

What is the procedure to send a device wipe to a large group of devices?  We are in the process of re-doing a group of iPads and I'd rather not send a Device Wipe 60+ times.  Hoping there is an easy way to send a wipe to a group of selected devices..

My approach would be a python script to iterate over a csv of Device IDs and send the device wipe command via API.
