Security Groups not working for select Users Window

We are able to add the DN for a number of different User Groups, however, Security groups errors out immediately and there are a 100 users in this group.  Any chance their is a bug with using Security groups.

Hello, Do you use global catalog by any chance? What kind of Security Groups are these - Domain Local, Universal or Global?
