SAML Auth - Horizon View Load Balancing

Hello everybody,

does somebody know how to configure the SAML Authentication in Horizon Workspace 1.0 for Horizon View (5.2) if I

using a Load Balancer for client connection to my View Connection Servers?

I didn't find anything in official documentation.

I'm using MS Network Load Balancer (Multicast Mode)

I'm using an Alias (CNAME in DNS) for this Load Balancer.

At the Workspace Connector, under View Pools Configuration > , i'm using this Alias.

But if i want to start a View Desktop in my VMware Workspace, the Message  "invalid SAML...." appears.

If I change the "" to an real existing View Connection Server, it works.

Any ideas?

Tobi

You have rightly configured "FQDN for client acess" as View deployment's load balancer.

Few things you may want to try:

1.  Can you login to view desktop directly from View Client via this load balancer. If yes, we need to look at Horizon Workspace side configuration

2. Is loadbalancer using default HTTPS port 443 ? Horizon needs all  View Servers i.e. (View  Connection/Replica Servers, Security Servers and Loadbalancers) to use default port 443

3.If its 443 , Try using IP of Loadbalancer and see if that works.

4. Also ensure that SAML is enabled and configured on all View Replica servers sitting behind your loadbalancer
