Removing iOS apps from the App Catalog

Is there any way to remove an iOS app from the App Catalog without having it uninstall from all the devices that have it installed?

Our organization has been asking for this for years with no indication of it ever getting fixed.

We just had a call about this with our SAM last week. Apparently if you're running on-prem there's a way to suppress the uninstall command. But for anyone with SaaS, you're out of luck.

Were you given the information on how to actually suppress the uninstall command if you are on-premise?
