Remote View in console v1810

Our dedicated SaaS environment was just updated to 1810 this morning from 9.3, and one of the things I wanted to start playing with was Remote View. However, so far I am not able to find any reference to Remote View in my console - am I missing something? Where should I find the setup for Remote View?

Do you by chance mean the Remote View that was implemented in 9.7 (just want to make sure I'm not mixing up features)? If so, I would check to verify that your company has purchased the Advanced Remote Management Sku as said in the Release Notes: ' To make use of remote view, you must have purchased Advanced Remote Management SKU and must be using iOS Agent v5.8.1+.'

We are an On-Prem who were going to update to 9.7 recently for this feature but decided against it due to budget.

Ah, figured that might be the case, but I could NOT find that anywhere. Thanks!

Hi All,

In case of a correct subscription for the ARM module, how can we enable/configure the feature ? It is said in the documentation that there is nothing to do for SaaS customers.
On my side, I tried to test on an Samsung Galaxy device enrolled on v1811 CN556 environment.
I downloaded the Remote Management Service for Samsung : https://resources.workspaceone.com/view/9qp2mmjmhhlz7rqvrxf8/en
I successfully deployed the app on the device (Android v7 + Intelligent Hub v9).
But I'm facing the following messages in the troubleshooting section :
Device Event Log Description : Successfully initiated remote management registration
Device Event Log Description : RM failed to register. Server not found server:localhost

Has anyone experienced that ?
BR

HI Mathieu I've done the exact same thing as you in 1810 SaaS and having the same error message

Device Event Log Description : RM failed to register. Server not found server:localhost
Device Event Log Description : Successfully initiated remote management registration.

Hi Nick,

According to the Airwatch Support, I do not have a subscription for the ARM module. That's why I'm facing this issue on our SaaS environment.
You'd better to contact the Support in order to check if you purchased the correct license.
If you have the correct license, I'm interested by your feedback regarding the steps to follow to have the Remote Management working.

The same thing happened to me, but is weird....once has passed 24 hours i can be able to register devices on the ARM Server.

Maybe it's someting related to the license ' Perpetual'  installed by default?

Regards!
