Proper way to delete a Connector

We're overbuilt on Connectors and the documentation is lacking on how to get rid of one.  Do I just kill the VM manually and remove the Identity Provider or is it more involved?

Unlike using addvm to add additional connector, there is no command to remove existing connector.

Here is what I will do:

If the connector is behind the gateway

* Login to Configurator UI, set connector to maintenance mode

* Go to vCenter power off the connector, and remove it from vApp.

* Verify the connector should be removed from Configurator UI

* Check [gateway]:/opt/vmware/nginx/conf/gen/upstream-443.conf and verify the connector is NOT listed there

If the connector is directly accessible (NOT behind gateway)

* Go to vCenter power off the connector, and remove it from vApp.

* Verify the connector should be removed from Configurator UI

And yes, please do check the Identity Provider and verify that the deleted connector should not be available anymore.
