No file preview on Windows 8

Hello,

We're running Workspace 1.5 and are using a variety of clients (Android, iOS and Windows 😎

When using an android or iOS device, I can see any MS Office 2010 file in preview mode.

On a Dell tablet running Win 8, all I get is the little rotating circle, that's all

Is Microsoft showing off their programming skills here ???

I've installed Office 2010 on the tab, still nothing..

Text documents (.txt) can be viewed without errors on Win 8, all other functions except opening seem to work (sharing, renaming etc).

Any ideas ???

On Win 8 tablet, you are just using the browser, right? We don't have a native app for it.

If so, which browser are you using?

Also, does the preview work fine on a regular windows 8 desktop?

Hi,

I'm using the default browser which came with the tab, IE 11.

Tested also on a regular Windows 8.1 laptop and there we've got the same issue.

After installing Firefox 25.0.1 and running Workspace within that browser, everything works fine.

Solution seems to be:

Don't use IE !!

IE 11 have lots of problems and I am advising my customers to stay away from it..
