New installation

Hi,

I'm new in the virtualization domain. I have to try Horizon Workspace for my company.

I read almost all I find but it's pretty hard to find some informations.

First I downloaded the .ova file and had the licence key. Then I tried to install it following the horizon workspace reviewer guide. But i have only an esxi server and it's doesn't work.

After checking the error, I have to install a vcenter 5.1 or higher.

Is it enough to have a trial licence key for vcenter and free licence esxi or do I need enterprise licence key for both ?

Sorry for that 'stupid' question but it's not very explicit.

You are getting the error because a single host does not support vApp deployment. Yes you can use vCenter in evaluation mode for 60 days. but you will not be able to add a ESXi which is running under free license. you will have to use evaluation license for the host too.
