Hello, I am an IT engineer for a pharmaceutical company in Japan and my team is in charge of building and providing laptops to company users. And now we are going to enter a new pahse, which is, accroding to its global IT team, an operation that laptop building starts at user's hand with workspace one. Currently, my team is provisioning each laptop, connecting to LAN Cable and start the imaging and wait for it done in general for 4 hours, then ship it out to user's designated address from our site. Global team says this process will be fully changed to the process with Workspace one and says an ultimate procedure is the laptop without provisioning should be didectly shipped to users and as soon as they connect to the Internet and login to a laptop, immediately imaging will get started and be finished in multiple hours. Is my understanding correct? I would like to know a more precise procedure as I would like to know it upfront in order to get ready for the upcoming this December where probably we will have to make that happen in Japan. General obstacles, issues or solutions will be appreciated.
