'Mobile SSO (for iOS)' Authentication Method Problems

Error received - Failed to set adapter configuration:

An exception occurred while updating the KDC data. 
Cause information: tenant-data operation failed: 500. 

I get this error when I attempt to enable the Mobile SSO (for iOS) adapter in Identity Manager. If I remove the Realm name (OP.VMWAREIDENTITY.COM) then I can enable the adapter. However, as Identity manager is installed on Windows servers then (according to documentation) I need to specify OP.VMWAREIDENTITY.COM as the KDC.
I had raised this with WS1 support but unfortunately they require that I speak to professional services as this is first time setup of iOS mobile SSO.

If anyone can shed any light on what I might be doing wrong or if anyone has set this up successfully I'd be glad to hear.
VMware Identity manager 3.3.0.0, On-premise, 3 node Windows cluster.
