Microsoft Teams and WS1

Hello,

I have some questions about Teams.  Is the MS Authenticator app the app that has to be used for user auth with Teams?  I have this odd issue where the Teams and auth app flash back and forth several times before it settles down.  Sometimes it will even get stuck in a loop constantly flashing back and froth from the auth app to Teams.  I am curious if other have seen this and what you did to possibly resolve it. I tried a ticket with VMware but got no where with it.  Is it also possible to not use the auth app and go some other route?

Authenticator isn’t required for Teams, but if installed acts as the Microsoft authentication broker. If you see a flash back and forth there is something wrong with the MSAL token or the authenticator configuration itself. What does azure ad signin logs say?
