MacOS Hub Installation

Hello,

We recently had the main AirWatch Mac Admin leave our company and I have been left with some questions. We use DEP to enroll the macs into AirWatch but I am wondering how the hub application is being installed? I have looked all over the setting and do not see where the app is being pulled from. It is Hub 20.08 every time and I know its a very old version so it must be a file stored somewhere...

What are the possible ways to install intelligent hub for Mac?

"Install Hub after enrollment" is enabled.

I don't completely understand your question. Is Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub App installed and are you figuring out how it was installed, or dou you want to install it, but don't know how?

How it was installed? 

I opened a ticket with VMware and they stated "Hub gets downloaded on it's own if the below setting is enabled on the UEM. Also, the version will match the CN version of your environment.

Settings > devices & users > Apple > Apple macos > intelligent hub settings > Check if install hub after enrollment is enabled."

Under settings > Device and Users > Apple > MacOS > Install Hub after enrollment is enabled but we are currently on Console Version: 22.9.0.20 (2209) & I see hub verison 20.08 being installed.

Maybe it's possible that the client installs a cached version? You can try clearing the cache on the device, reboot them after. This way you force them to download the latest version of the Intelligent Hub from the UEM console.

The Hub version 20.08 is "seeded" into the console we have. You must open up a ticket and request a new Hub Version be seeded to your console. 

Hub 22.08 should be seeded in Workspace ONE UEM version 22.09

4. انسٹالیشن پروسیس مکمل کریں: انسٹالیشن پروسیس کے دوران، آپ کو مختلف تنظیمات اور کونفیگریشنز کو ترتیب دینا ہوگا۔ اپنے ضروری تنظیمات کو ترتیب دینے کے بعد، آپ کو نئے ایپلیکیشن کے استعمال کے لئے تیار ہونا چاہئے۔

5. مدد حاصل کریں: اگر آپ کو کسی بھی مرحلے میں مدد کی ضرورت ہو، تو MacOS Hub کے رسمی فورم یا ان کے سپورٹ تعلقات سے رابطہ کریں۔ دیگر استعمال کنندگان سے مدد حاصل کرنا بھی مفید ثابت ہوسکتا ہے۔
