I'm running UEM 1902 on-prem and using the Launcher 4.2. We're testing Android 8 ruggedized tablets as shared devices and staging them for multi-use. For some reason, after enrollment the Launcher does not ask for login credentials but somehow auto logs in and then the logout button is missing so that we're now stuck in the Launcher. Anybody come across this before? We have older Android 6 rugged devices that seem to work fine in the same scenario.
In your case It seems that the staging user you are using is in the group that has a profile configured, so after registration you already receive the profile.
