Intelligent Hub Removed Uninstalled after Windows Update

We've had a couple situations in which the WS1 Intelligent Hub program is uninstalled/disappears from an autopilot system after Windows updates, and then the user cannot log in with the current Microsoft account/password.

We do not enable local administrator for these autopilot machines. So the only recourse we have is a PC reset. We can seemingly replicate a similar situation in-house by setting up a test user on an imaged machine, then using the DELETE DEVICE option from WS1, or by uninstalling Intelligent Hub while the user is logged into Windows.

Once the user logs out or the machine is rebooted, it will only display that user's name and ask for a Password, which will not work. Are all local files lost as soon as this occurs? Is there any way to get the machine re-registered into WS1 without a PC Reset?

We found one article saying after a some Windows Updates, they have had this happen:

This appears to be what has happened to a couple of our users as well. Appreciate any insights on this matter.
