Horizon Workspace & Office 365 SMTP

Hi All,

Trying to setup Workspace for the first time in our lab environment. During the setup you are required to enter in an SMTP server address. We only use Office 365 for incoming/outgoing mail. They do have an SMTP server at smtp.office365.com. The issue is that it fails the reverse DNS lookup. What else can I do to get the setup to complete?

Just to get past the setup you can point to the configurator-va. There is a demo SMTP server running on it. Later make sure to change the SMTP to something valid so email notifications can be sent. How to do it should be in the manuals.

Weird Office365 doesn't have proper PTR records. That is a minimum security recommendations.

Yeah, not sure why it doesnt have the PTR setup. I searched with DNS tools and it didnt find anything.
