Horizon 1.5 upgrade - Where do you run the command from?

Jump to solution

This may be a stupid question but I was reading through the 1.5 upgrade guide and it says the following:

Procedure

1 Go to the command line to start the upgrade.

2 Run the updatemgr.hzn command.

/usr/local/horizon/lib/menu/updatemgr.hzn update

Where is this supposed to be run from? A particular VM?

Thats what I was thinking but didn't want to try it without knowing for sure. Thanks for the answer and now if someone can put that in the upgrade documentation that would help!

Sure. Please also check the release notes. If your environment has two (or more) service-va instances, there are additional steps to follow during upgrade.
