Hardware keys not an option in Launcher (Android)

We recently upgraded the console (on-prem) to version 9.6. After the upgrade we started having som troubles with tables with Launcher. We have some different Launchers, all applied to Work Managed devices - all Samsung  Galaxy Tab S3, som running Android 8 and som running Android 7.  They can not longer use hardware keys, such as the home-button. In settings for the Launcher, the option for hardware keys are no longer there. Have anyone experienced the same?

The Launcher version is 4.0.0.31

I have experienced the same. We have a floating home button from AirWatch now with no use of the hardware keys.

Seems to be by design , if the legacy launcher is applied the hardware keys work again
