Geofencing - Notification when Device Leaves an Area

Is there a way for administrators or really anyone to receive an e-mail or notification when a device is taken from a particular area?  I have found where I can add an 'Area'.

Thanks.

When the device leaves the area it should report it's location and become non-compliant.  Create a compliance policey and assign and you should be able to generate an email.  Remember that location services must be turned ' on'  for the agent to be able to track location.

I am not seeing any applicable settings to Android devices.  I do see iBeacon for iOS.

There are no specific settings in compliance that are for Geofence.  When the device leaves the GeoFence area it becomes non-compliant.  I have a policy based on being compliant or not and one of the actions is to send an email when the device becomes non-compliant.  The first rule in the compliance policiy is ' compliance status'

Hi Ray,
I don't see any way to configure a compliance policy off of ' being compliant' .  I'm testing on an iOS device, and the device is compliant whether or not it is in the GeoFence area.  Could you walk me through the steps you took to get this to work?

So far, I have created an area, and assigned a standard profile to only install when in that area.  I need to add another payload, so I added a random web-clip.  The profile seems to install/remove when I enter/leave the area, but the device is never marked non-compliant, so I do not receive any alerts.

I am trying to accomplish the same thing. It looks like you could install an application while inside the area and have it removed when you are outside. Make a compliance policy based on the existence of that app. When the app is not there, it becomes non-compliant and an email can be sent.  I haven't yet tested this myself and I have no idea how quickly it would react but it seems logical.

Do compliance policies require you to be connected? In other words if leaving the GeoFence area is outside of our building and it's a Wi-Fi only device, so not on the internet. Would it trigger? So let's say I have a compliance policy that says when not compliant remove all apps we installed. Assuming being out of the GeoFence area causes auto non-compliance, would it delete the apps on the device or would it have to talk back to WS1 and WS1 would remove the apps?

By the way, how in compliance settings do you setup a compliance policy that just says ' if the device isn't compliant'  do X?  Looks like you have to pick from the list which doesn't seem the same.  Would you pick ' Compromised Status' ?

Thanks.
