FQDN host does not match CN from certificate.

My Horizon certificate is about to expire.

I renewed it today and while trying to install it on the connectors I am receiving this error :

FQDN host does not match CN from certificate.

I have followed the chain cert - inter - root.

It is installed on my F5 and it works fine.

This is a SAN cert that contains the main name and the connectors name.

Anyone has an idea ? I am on v1.8

Hi Seb,

Could you please send me a personal email (on shahd@vmware.com) with following details -

1. What is the CN in the certificate and DNS names in SAN?

2. What is the hostname of the Connector? Please run hostname command on Connector to see what it returns, it may happen that the response is simply the name instead of Connector FQDN (name + domain name)

3. How is the Connector accessed? Is it accessed using DNS name that is same as hostname or has a different DNS name?

Thanks

Devang

Thanks Devang. You got it right.

The hostname on the connectors was missing the domain name.

Modified it through Yast and I am able to install the cert now.

Thanks a lot Smiley Wink
