Each new user a popup opens asking for group ID

Hello,

We are having an issue where we are pushing the AirWatch agent MSI installer to PCs with all the settings to where it should be auto enrolled. (including group ID) These devices show up in our management site, but every time a new user logs onto a PC with it installed, it still asks for a group ID. We looked at making registry changes and couldn't find anything. We really want to be able to put this into production. Could anyone give us some help? Thanks!

Hi Dallas, I assume that you are enrolling Windows Desktop devices into VMware Workspace ONE, by using the staging or an enrollment user account.

I'm not completely sure, but when the device is enrolled by such a user, the AirWatch agent will try to perform a final registration on the new user login.
Can you preregister one of the devices to the final user and after the preregistration try to enroll the device again? Does the Group ID popup still being displayed after this?

You can preregister the device to the final user at ' Devices -> Life Cycle -> Enrollment Status' , and choose ' Add -> Register Device'  from the pull down menu. During the preregistration process, try to use the unique serial number or other unique identification under ' Show advanced device information options'  of the laptop/desktop.
