Disable Filevault

Hi all, we have an existing policy in place for MacOS and Filevault. It is setup now to use an Institutional cert. We want to move to a Personal Key that is uploaded to the console.

I have found if you pull the existing policy, Filevault stays active. If i push a new policy with Personal Key, nothing happens.

Is there a way to disable Filevault so it can encrypt with the new policy?
