Difference between UEM registered and HUB registered devices

We have a number of BYOD devices that registered using the old WorkSpaceOne app whcih is no longer in appstore and when you look at one of these devices in airwatch console, under Security, it shows "Hub Registered".  However, the devices enrolled using Intelligent hub show "Managed By UEM, Find My iPhone Disabled, Activation Lock Disabled, iCloud Backup Disabled, Passcode Enabled, Data Protection"

Why is there a difference if IHUB has replaced WS1 app ?

Hub registered means the device is not traditionally enrolled or managed. The user has registered their device with the console so it is allowed to get apps that have been assigned to the Registered OG. So basically it's an app store for internal apps without the user actually enrolling into a fully managed space.

Identify the OG that these devices are in then switch your console to that OG and look in : Groups & Settings > All Settings > Devices & Users > General > Enrollment.

This will explain it in more detail. https://techzone.vmware.com/blog/how-enable-intelligent-hub-and-workspace-one-apps-without-full-mana...
