I can find a lot of information about Boxer and Content Locker, but very little about third party managed apps. If I flag a third party app (e.g. Concur or ServiceNow) as managed, is the data for that app any more secure than the same app, but unmanaged? In other words, does a managed third party app gain any encryption beyond what the app itself or the OS offers? Is the app data at rest encrypted just by being marked as managed?
