DEP Disable Activation Lock Bypass Correctly

Just wondering if someone can make sure I am correct on my thinking here. If a user quits and sets their iPhone on the desk and leaves, what is the correct way to disable activation lock and erase it for another user? Am I correct in doing these steps?

  1. Choose Activation Lock Bypass and print out code if needed for the phone in Airwatch under Devices and the Device

  2. Clear the Passcode for Device

  3. Enterprise Wipe the phone and check the pin is cleared and manually Erase All Content and Settings or do a Device Wipe The phone should then be usable for another user correct?

We had problems with people leaving and HR not having the users sign out of the iCloud account and I got us on DEP now for 3 years and haven't had any issues since. But want to be prepared incase this situation comes up.

Hello

For us best is...
In console:
- choose device
- click more
- send activation lock bypass command
- print out the bypass code (just in case)

Do not remove device entry from console unless u confirm AL is cleared on the device itself

We cannot use the Deactivate button and the code is not being collected... any ideas?
