Configuring UAG with SEG Edge Service

Hello together,

we are currently at the configuration of an Unified Access Gateway with the Secure Email Gateway Edge service. We have issues with getting the SEG configuration from the WSO UEM API (WSO UEM SaaS). 

In the UAG documentation guide is no information about a firewall requirement for SEG to WSO UEM REST API on port 443. In the SEG documentation guide it's shown the difference. A requirement of opening port 443 for SEG to WSO UEM Rest API connection is needed.

Which information is correct?

Hi Thomas,

you do indeed require port 443 open from SEG to UEM REST API.

SEG makes API calls to UEM over that port to check if a device is for example compliant.

Hello Wannes,

thank you very much for the feedback. The external firewall for this mentioned SEG environment is only able to open ports on IP address basis.

Is there a documentation about IP ranges which can be used for the WSO UEM REST API?
