Citrix Xenapps

Hi,

The VMWare Workspace Horizon FAQ document mentions that Horizon Workspace supports launching Citrix Xenapps.  I've not found anything in the Horizon Workspace installation or reviewer guides that mention how to do this. Is this possible, and if so what are the steps?

Where did you found that document? Please provide a link since that is plain wrong.

Horizon Workspace 1.0 does not support XenApp Applications.

From the document section on this Horizon Workspace site:

VMW HORIZON WORKSPACE FAQ.pdf

http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-21749

"Horizon Workspace centralizes access for VMware Horizon
View™ desktops. You can provide access to Windows
applications from the user workspace. Horizon Workspace
also supports Citrix XenApp. This makes it easier than ever
to secure, add or remove desktop assets yet give users the
flexibility to access them from anywhere."

So are you saying that this is incorrect?

Thanks for the link, I'll try to get that corrected.

Yes, that is incorrect. VMware Horizon Workspace 1.0 does not support XenApp published applications.

Maybe it was supposed to be saying "ThinApp", that is fully supported.
