Boxer 5.12.0.2 crashing

Hello,
on android mobile phone, the last version of Boxer (5.12.0.2) available since the 6th of November is crashing on all our devices.
Anyone else is experiencing similar issue, or has a workaround ?

We seem to be having the same issue. I am getting reports from users that the Boxer app crashes when you try to launch the app.


Re-installing the Boxer app from the PlayStore seems to fix the problem.

We tried this, but when you close and reopen the application it crashes again

So far 324 of our 861 Android users that have gotten the 5.12.0.2 update and none of them have reported this issue to me. Does it seem to happen on a specific OS version more than others by chance?

We have the same issue, Its look like VMware rool back to 5.11.
After uninstall the 5.12, install again and if the ver is 5.11 - work fine!

I confirm that Vmware has performed a rollout, I have sent a bunch of logs to their support, hoping that they find where the problem come from.
For all users having the issue we just uninstall the 5.12.0.2 and reinstalled the previous version 5.11.0.4 (which is the version now avalilable in the playstore).
I will post the answer of the support

250 of 1350 devices arrived the version 5.12.0.2.

Is there a chance as admin to rollback ?

I have suggested that they re-version the v5.11.0.4 as v5.12.0.3 so all devices can install the older working version as an ' upgrade' .


 


It's annoying that there is no option to force a downgrade to the previous version within the WSOne Console.

VMWare support have finally admitted that this issue is related to an ongoing work item: BINXA-11316

They have escalated my Severity 1 incident to the next tier engineer.

Some people are saying to me that a 5.12.0.3 is now out. Could someone confirm ?

I have seen a number of user devices that have updated to v5.12.0.3 and Boxer appears to be working correctly.
