Apple Business Manager Existing Devices

We got an existing Workspace One MDM and are currently installing the Apple Business Manager and would like to use the "Supervised"-Features.

Is there a possibility to get already existing and installed devices "Supervised" without using the Apple "Configurator 2" and wiping the whole device?

For example are we able to register devices through Workspace One?
